Extrusion Coating/Lamination

Considered the “core” of our business, Jen-Coat has several extrusion coating/laminating lines with wide-width capabilities. These lines are capable of producing a variety of products and substrates to service the flexible packaging, health care and industrial markets.
Flexible packaging structures can range from simple polyethylene coated papers to sophisticated multi-layer laminations (up to 8 layers in one pass). Whether it be sugar packets, lidding, foil pouch laminations or cosmetic web applications, our combination of single head and tandem/coextrusion equipment fits the total needs of the marketplace.
For health care applications, our tandem/coextrusion lines enable Jen-Coat to produce multi-layer coated nonwovens fabrics. They meet stringent barrier requirements for protection from liquid and blood borne pathogens. These products are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each customer.
The industrial market encompasses pressure sensitive label release base and various non-food can liners. These products are all coated on our tandem extrusion coating lines, which have the ability to coat two sides of a substrate in one pass. In-line ancillary equipment provides lay flat characteristics required in certain market.
